Chalet Seven appoints ski instructor to the stars, Jörg Romang

Chalet Seven – the brand new luxury chalet in Crans Montana, Switzerland – has appointed skiing instructor to the stars, Jörg Romang, as its hospitality manager.

With over 20 years experience in skiing hospitality, Jörg is the former PR and marketing manager for the Crans Montana tourist board. Jörg has worked with the likes of Bono and Prince William, and for 15 years provided personal tuition to Sir Roger Moore.

Speaking about his appointment, Jörg commented: “I’m delighted to be associated with Chalet Seven and am looking forward to introducing our guests to the joys of skiing in the Swiss Alps.”

Jörg was also an influential member of the Crans Montana organising committee, which bid for the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics.

As well as creating bespoke itineraries, Jörg will also advise on lavish added extras, such as husky rides, night time safaris and where to go for the finest in après-ski.

Mike Cooper, founder of Chalet Seven, commented: “I’m very proud that we are able to offer our guests the services of a ski host with such vast experience and knowledge. Jörg is a major addition to our team and fits in perfectly with our ethos of top-level service.”
